Should a contract specify which state laws will govern it?

I provided an online subscription service. In the terms of service I state that the contract is governed by Wisconsin law. A potential client is asking me to change that to the state in which they reside. I initially indicated that I need this to remain as is. They countered this with a request to remove this language from the contract all together. Can you provide some insight as to what my best option is?
