How can I resolve a lien on the estate?

I was awarded money from a medical malpractice law suit. Since the award is rewarded to the "estate", we will need a tax attorney to provide guidance in resolving - lien on the estate, deductibles, division of monetary award to three parties.

It would depend on the type of lien. Generally, the executor of the estate would pay the lien and then divide the remaining assets among the beneficiaries as provided in the will if there is one or (if not) among the heirs as provided under Oregon intestacy law.
